Rachel Olsson is excited to Serve as the College Coordinator for the Be a Leader Foundation. She believes that it is a privilege to serve and support students in accomplishing their goals and help develop the next generation.
Born in Colorado, Rachel has always had a passion for working with youth, and helping develop leadership skills in others. After graduating high school in 2013 she attended Arizona State University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2017. In college, she found a greater love and passion for serving college students and truly believes that College students can change the world. In her role as the president for an organization focused on building a culture of Respect, and through her internship with the Americorps, she learned the strength of diversity and the power of resiliency. In her Junior and Senior year at ASU, Rachel taught incoming Freshmen how to navigate university resources, and through her campus organization she spoke to thousands of women about the importance of self-worth and respect.
Rachel recognizes the key role that support and mentorship played in her own growth. As a member of the Be a Leader Foundation team she is excited to give back to college students and see them not only succeed academically in, but in all elements of life.
