Ashley Rodriguez | Middle School Coordinator

Ashley is honored to serve as the Middle School Coordinator with the Be A Leader Foundation and the Roosevelt School District. She arms 7th and 8th grade students with college knowledge, helps them develop leadership skills, and provides the resources needed for students to feel empowered to use high school as a stepping stone into college.

Raised in Phoenix, Ashley graduated from North High School in 2010. She attended Arizona State University with the Obama’s Scholarship and became a first generation college graduate in 2014. During her time at ASU, she was involved with the America Reads program as a tutor where she worked with 6th and 7th grade students and developed a deep passion for helping students through education.

After graduating from Arizona State University, she served two years as an Americorps member through Public Allies where she was able to develop her leadership skills, get involved with her community, and grow closer to the nonprofit sector. Be A Leader Foundation is now her home and allows her to continue to stay involved with school communities and create young, passionate college-going leaders for the future.
